We are very excited about 2012 around the winery these days. Not that 2011 wasn’t fun! 2012 is really the year to try new wines, try new events, expand the grounds, and grow our retail business. We regularly get asked what we are planning on doing this year, so we’d thought we share a few things.

First, our wine club membership grew leaps and bounds in 2011.  We truly appreciate the support from our loyal wine club members.  Our next wine club event is January 29 and should be a great time as usual.  With our wine club growth, we decide to start doing more special events exclusively for our wine club members.  Our first event is planned for March 24 and we are finalizing the details now.  We plan to have these intimate dinners every few months.  

Secondly, new wines!  We have been experimenting a lot this year and have had some great successes and some flops.  For those of you that know the winemaker, he’s very honest about his flops!  For those of you that have missed the standards like the Merlot, Cab Franc, and Chardonnay – they will be making a come back in 2012.  In addition to the standards, more experimentation with dessert wines and some champagne are on the radar.  

Lastly, we will be doing some expansions around the grounds.  Many of you noticed the new patio during your last visit.  Expect more landscaping, some grape vines, and even some new buildings potentially.
