We’re excited to announce the release of our newest wine, our 2012 Special Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley!

For our members and others that enjoy our wines, you likely know that our Cabernet Sauvignon is one that we make with grapes from the Napa Valley – and for this wine, specifically the Rutherford area. If you’re a fan of ‘Napa Cab,’ you might have heard how 2012 was an absolutely fantastic year there. Growing conditions were said to be ideal, and both the quality and quantity of the fruit exceeded many expectations. From our experience with this vintage, we couldn’t agree more, and we believe that success shines through in the finished product.

This balanced and elegant wine presents with notes of black cherry and currant. Hints of cinammon, vanilla, and mocha add to it’s wonderful complexity, that lasts well into the long finish. Ripe, round tannins give it a concentrated core of fruit that opens up fully with time.

Aged in 70% mature and 30% new French oak for 18 months, this wine is built to last well into the next decade, but is also ready to be enjoyed today.
